Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. April 18th. INTERFAX – FAR EAST – A resident of the city of Kholmsk, who sold inserts about citizens of the USSR, is accused of operating an extremist organization and its financing, the press service of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the ICR for the Sakhalin Region reported on Monday.
According to the investigation, from February to April 2021, the woman joined the public association “Union of Slavic Forces of Russia” (USSR). This association of the Supreme Court of the Komi Republic was recognized as an extremist feature in 2019, its activities are prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation.
She attracted a resident of the Korsakov district to the activities of an organization banned in the Russian Federation. Together with him, she sent letters to the heads of the territorial structural divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Sakhalin Region, demanding that they continue their activities. Participated via videoconferencing in meetings and other collective events among the “Union of Slavic Forces of Russia”.
“From June 2020 to April 2021, the defendant sold passport inserts to the Sakhalin Region certifying that they belonged to the citizenship of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, thus receiving funds in the total amount of 38.9 thousand,” the report says.
She is at high risk of disease under Part 2 of Art. 1.1 Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (involvement in the activities of an extremist organization), part 2 of Art. 2 tbsp. 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in an extremist organization), part 2 of Art. 1 st. 282.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (raising funds to protect the activities of an extremist organization).
The case has been sent to the local court.
