“Fair Russia – For the Truth” offered to pay the 13th pension
The deputies of A Just Russia – For Truth, headed by the head of the faction, Sergei Mironov, proposed to pay the 13th pension to Russian pensioners. The corresponding bill has been sent to the cabinet, the press service of the SRHR reports.
“The 13th pension must be paid to fight poverty in the country,” Mironov explained. According to him, pensioners are the most socially vulnerable citizens.
The politician recalled that this is the appearance of such a case with a surge in microfinance lending, traditionally observed before the New Year. “Most willingly, banks and MFOs give money to pensioners, – Mironov. – Their incomes are small, but they are elderly people for obvious reasons. After all, they receive a pension every month. “
In the event of difficulties with the repayment of credit funds, which caused the subsequent debiting of funds from the bank card, a pension is calculated on the basis. “I hope that after receiving the 13th pension, many pensioners will refuse loans. People will not have to go into debt and then pay them off with high unbearable interest rates, ”the politician explained.

The faction calculated that the payment of the 13th pension would require about 654.8 billion rubles. At the level of the provisions of the bill on a twofold increase in payments to the insurance old-age pension to people who have reached the age of 70, another 53.9 billion rubles are needed. Mironov believes that such funds are available in the budget.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that banks and bailiffs will be prohibited from seizing social benefits due to citizens in order to pay off the debt. The corresponding bill was submitted to the State Duma on the initiative of President Vladimir Putin. We are talking about funds aimed at supporting families, pregnant women and certain categories of citizens.
