BiQ Group acquires Brno-based PUXdesign, thereby strengthening its competences in the field of web design and e-commerce – Roklen24.cz
The technology group BiQ Group is growing, the Brno development company PUXdesign, which specializes in web technologies, is now part of it. Its strongest domain is the custom development of web applications, especially client portals and e-commerce, which it delivers including user research, UX/UI and long-term development. In addition to deepening competences, the aim of the acquisition is to help in business growth and the search for synergies between subsidiary companies across all. The total value of PUXdesign reached 100 million crowns, so the amount of the acquisition is in the higher tens of millions of crowns for a majority stake. The turnover of the company in 2022 was 6 million, which is an increase of 2% compared to 5 million.
“We are joining BiQ Group with the expectation that it will help our company to grow further, especially through large clients. Together, we also want to move to Western markets, which requires further significant professionalization and knowledge of the local business environment,” says Tomáš Hložánek, founder and CEO of PUXdesign, about the acquisition.

More than 18 years of experience
In its 18 years of existence, PUXdesign has evolved from a design firm to a full-service e-commerce agency with more than fifty employees. During his tenure, he collected customers all over Europe.
