“System Operator”, a power system dispatcher in the Russian Federation, wants to resume the supply of electricity to Europe. This may be a reflection of the Russian energy system development program for 2023-2028. It is reported with reference to the document “Kommersant”.
Deliveries were frozen in the spring of 2022 due to the fact that the sanctions against the Russian Federation, imposed after the start of a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine, made the calculations impossible.
The estimated volume of electricity exports to Latvia in 2023 is four billion kilowatt-hours, and the estimated volume to Lithuania and Estonia is 2.4 billion kilowatt-hours.
At the same time, the total export of electricity from the Russian Federation for the year is 12.9 billion kilowatt hours, sales can be ensured by supplies in consumer countries. The System Operator has collected that Finland must purchase 24 billion kilowatt-hours by 2028.
This question is not worth it. This is explained by their intention to get out of the energy ring with Russia and Belarus.
Earlier it became known that the exchange prices for electricity as part of the sections of Russia in December 2022 reached historical maximum of 1,800 rubles per megawatt. Such indicators are recorded in the European parts of the country and in the Urals.
According to the System Operator, the peak values of the price have already been passed, and now they are decreasing.
