Russia and Belarus have made changes to the agreement on joint security
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu arrived in Minsk to meet with his Belarusian counterpart Viktor Khrenin. The parties signed a protocol of agreement on concluding a security deal in the military sphere.
At the talks, the ministers discussed “topical issues of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation”, informs Ministry of Defense of Belarus. The parties also signed a protocol on amending the agreement between the two countries on international security agreements in the international sphere dated December 19, 1997.

In Belarus, the combat coordination of Russian and Belarusian formations from certain groupings of troops is currently widespread.
