Sligro Antwerp embraces new ERP environment
VEGHEL – Sligro’s one-stop-shop in Antwerp has successfully switched to a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system based on SAP. The new software system helps to automate and manage key business processes.
In 2020, the wholesale chain launched the new web environment and the new article data environment was taken into use in the autumn of 2021. Last week, the third major element was confirmed: the ERP system. “We see this integrated new technical environment and the associated uniform business processes as an important precondition for controlled international growth, in which economies of scale can be used to increase efficiency. We are extremely proud of the perseverance and based on all colleagues and partners who have helped us in this process and will continue to support us during the rollout”, says Rob van der Sluijs, CFO at Sligro.
In the first few years, Sligro Food Group will transfer all Belgian and Dutch branches, location by location, to this new environment, so that the entire Food Group will work on one and the same platform.
