Transneft received an appeal from Ukrtransnafta to increase the tariff for oil transit through the Ukrainian part. This was announced on Monday, November 21, by Igor Demin, adviser to the president of the Russian oil and gas company, transfer RIA News.
“We are studying these proposals, preparing reports in the Russian authorities,” said a representative of Transneft.
The fact that Ukraine from 2023 is going to increase the production of fuel for the transit of oil from the Russian Federation through the Druzhba pipeline to Hungary and Slovakia, on Monday also reported Bloomberg agency. According to him, in writing “Ukrtransnafta” as the reasons for consumption, that the destruction of the economy leads to a shortage of consumption, estimates its cost and lack of fuel.
From January 1, 2023, the Ukrainian company intends to increase tariffs for the transportation of oil along the Druzhba in transportation and Slovakia by 2.1 euros per ton to 13.6 euros. Tariffs for pumping through Ukraine have increased this year in Europe.
Ukraine stopped pumping oil through the Druzhba pipeline into absorption. The Ukrainian side referred to the voltage drop in the power grids. The pumping was restored the next day.
