Day of trees: in Naples appointment at Parco De Filippo – Campania

(ANSA) – NAPLES, NOVEMBER 21 – The first of the two Neapolitan appointments with the National Day of Trees was held in the “Fratelli De Filippo” Park in Ponticelli, aimed at educating the younger generations in the knowledge of the forest and tree species to stimulate sustainable daily behavior aimed at the conservation of biodiversity and the balance between the human community and the natural environment.

The event was organized by the “Campania” Forestry Carabinieri Regional Command in collaboration with the Campania Region and the Municipality of Naples, involving all the departments of the Forestry Corps of the Region, local communities and schools. The Councilor for Health and Green Vincenzo Santagada and the Councilor for Agriculture of the Campania Region, Nicola Caputo, took part.

In addition to the planting of forest seedlings of the pre-existing natural environment, furnishings and an explanatory bulletin board were installed, created by workers from the Arma with wood from trees that died naturally in the managed state nature reserves.

Tomorrow, in the Auditorium of the Parish of Saints Peter and Paul, with entrance in via Maria Malibran (in front of the main entrance of the “Fratelli De Filippo” Park), a specimen of the Falcone Tree, symbol of the commitment to the fight against crime. (HANDLE).
