More citizens declare themselves unprepared to face higher heating costs. At least that’s what the latest survey conducted by iData (Date Inteligente SRL), made public on Friday, November 18, shows. 23% of respondents are not ready at all, but 23.2% say they will forego other expenses and pay the cost of heating.
19.4% are ready to reduce consumption, while 22.2% say that they have already prepared enough wood, coal, briquettes, tizic for heating.
3.6% of respondents claim that they will borrow money to pay for the deeds and return it later.
Only 8.1% say they will have no problem with higher heating costs.
A survey conducted by iData shows that 40.7% of respondents believe that the government has taken action to mitigate the crisis in the energy sector and rising prices, but the actions would not have been enough.
36.4% believe that nothing has been done, and 17% – that the government has done everything to protect the country.
1060 responses from 405 localities participated in this socio-political survey. The survey was carried out at national level, and the data collection period: between November 5-15, 2022.
