Russia in 2022 will go on defense much more than expected
According to the director of the Center for European and International Studies at the National Research University Higher School of Economics Vasily Kashin, additional expenses could be spent on the purchase of armed forces and army activities for military operations in Ukraine. He said that there are still reserves in the budget to increase spending.
As The Secret wrote earlier, in 2022 Russia was going to spend more on defense than on a share. In 2022, spending on the military sector is estimated at 3.5 trillion rubles — almost 15% of spending, or 2.6% of the country’s projected GDP. More than 5.8 trillion rubles were received as a result of observation, and a little less than 3.46 trillion rubles were received for the development of the economy.
Republican American politician, Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe said that China and Russia’s secret defense spending is larger than America’s. The United States, as you know, is the world leader in terms of defense budget.
According to the Russians, Russia should spend most of its budget revenues on education and medicine, and not on the defense sector. More than half of those surveyed by SuperJob said so. Almost one in three felt that the economy and social policy should be a priority. Less than a quarter of respondents ranked first in defense and law enforcement. And only a few mainly consider nature, culture and media.
