Barnaul. August 19. INTERFAX-SIBERIA – The 1st Eastern District Military Court on Friday sentenced a 22-year-old resident of Barnaul to 16 years in prison, found guilty in connection with explosive cases and the passage of the disease, assistant prosecutor of the Altai Territory Maria Antoshkina told reporters.
Defendant guilty of committing crimes under Art. 205.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (passing tests for the implementation of a case of activity), part 2 of Art. 1 st. 223.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal manufacture of explosives and explosive devices), Part 1 of Art. 1 st. 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal possession of explosives and explosive devices).
The investigation and the court found that in 2021, the man taught himself, and subsequently made homemade explosives and explosive devices at the place of residence in an apartment building in Barnaul. They were implemented to carry out activities at social facilities.
Explosives and specialized detonation devices made by him were seized during a search of the seizure of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Altai Territory.
The defendant is fully recognized as guilty of committing the acts incriminated to him.
The court sentenced the young man to 16 years in prison with the first three years being served by a doctor, with the exception of cases – in a strict regime correctional colony, with a fine of 120 thousand rubles, with the seizure of liberty for 1 year.
In addition, the day before, the 1st Eastern District Court found guilty and convicted a resident of Barnaul, who commented on the publication on the Internet about the detention of men, positively assessed and appreciated its action. For the commission of an incident under Part 2 of Art. 2 tbsp. 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public justification of terrorism using the Internet), she is due a fine of 400 thousand rubles.
Court verdicts are not expected in legal force.
