Fewer cars were released in Greece in July – Newsbomb – News
In July 2022, 20,456 were released for the first time in Greece cars (new or used products) compared to 21,018 released in the corresponding month of the year 2021, showing a decrease of 2.7%. There was a 10.3% increase in the circulation of cars for the first time (new or used interior) in July of the year 2021 compared to the corresponding month of 2020.
New cars launched in July 2022 came in at 11,706 compared to 11,611 launched in the corresponding month of the year 2021, showing an increase of 0.8%.
The circulation of new motorcycles with a displacement of more than 50 cc (new and used abroad) during the month of July 2022, amounted to 7,491 compared to 6,300 in the corresponding month of the year 2021, showing an increase of 18.9%. The launch of new motorcycles (above 50 cc) in July 2021 showed an increase of 10.1% compared to the corresponding month of 2020.
New motorcycles launched in July 2022 totaled 7,002 compared to 5,700 launched in the corresponding month of 2021, showing an increase of 22.8%.
In the period January – July 2022, 131,476 cars (new or used products) were released for the first time, compared to 126,661 released in the corresponding period of the year 2021, showing an increase of 3.8%. An increase of 28.7% was presented in the seven months of January – July of 2021 compared to the corresponding period of 2020.
New cars released in the period January – July 2022 come to 71,541 compared to 75,118 released in the corresponding period of the year 2021, showing a decrease of 4.8%.
The circulation of new motorcycles over 50 cc (new and used foreign) during the period January – July 2022, amounted to 39,177 against 31,077 released in the corresponding period of the year 2021, showing an increase of 26.1%. An increase of 36.4% was presented in the seven months of January – July of 2021 compared to the corresponding period of 2020.
New motorcycles launched in the period January – July 2022 amounted to 36,211 against 28,266 launched in the corresponding period of the year 2021, showing an increase of 28.1%.
