Prokop (YES): The Wonders of Prague 11, or how the Pirates in Prague go hand in hand with developers
The elections are approaching and it is necessary to arrange quickly what was promised … it would be nice if this motto applied to the citizens. However, it is probably interpreted in its own way by the Prague City Council headed by the Pirate Mayor Jiří Dohnal – the Mayor of Prague 11.
How else to interpret that he recently hastily let the Council pass a participatory agreement concerning the reconstruction of the current garages of the Globus Hotel and the construction of a ten-storey apartment building Ovčárna. Although the contract obliges the developer to take several seemingly beneficial steps, such as the construction of 8 new surface public parking spaces, 2 of which with charging stations for electric cars, it is modern and looks good, but nowhere is it mentioned that he will lose his parking space almost 80 local drivers who have parked here so far !!!
We wanted to open this topic at today’s council and let us explain all the strange or unknown contexts. However, the pirates refused to include this point. why? Maybe they have something to explain …. This is already a few examples of how Pirates in Prague 11 are on the hands of developers! And I’m behind the thickening of our housing estate !! The Greens were PRO so that Ovčárna would discuss with the citizens, the other discussions were not supported and therefore they approved the project AGAINST the citizens of Prague 11. Remember those names in half a year in the elections!
