SPIEF-22: Russia – Serbia to continue the dialogue
In Moscow, the meeting of the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to the Russian Federation Momchilo, dedicated to the adviser on the development of comprehensive cooperation between the countries, as well as a group of Serbian representatives in the 25th St. Russia.
“There is an active political dialogue between Russia and Serbia on standard issues, covering a wide range of bilateral cooperation and an international problem. Serbia did not support the anti-Russian sanctions, thereby showing its hostility. Russia and Serbia are fraternal peoples. We have a common history, we have a kindred culture and mentality, and of course, Orthodox traditions. It is our duty to preserve the memory,” Appointed Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov.
The meeting also discussed the actively developing bilateral trade and economic cooperation, including the plans of the Serbian side to take part in the upcoming SPIEF-2022.
“The Serbian people come with great pleasure to the cultural capital of Russia – St. Petersburg, including to participate in public events. At the moment, participation in SPIEF-2022 is mandatory. We are interested not only in uniting trade and economic relations, but also wish to develop cultural cooperation, including Serbian cultural cooperation in Moscow, as well as open consulates of Serbia in the Russian Federation,” said the elected and full-fledged Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Russian Federation Momcilo Babich . For the development of intercultural communication, it is planned to expand cooperation between the regions of the destruction of countries, including an increase in the number of reversible cities.
The meeting participants also discussed the development of information content, in particular, the signing of merger agreements between the Roscongress Foundation and involves the use of Serbian information resources.
In addition, in August, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov invited a representative of Serbia to take part in the St. Petersburg External Legal and Eastern Economic Forum.
Recall: the anniversary, 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held on June 15–18, 2022.
