The strongest sanction against Russia is to give us weapons to win on the battlefield
KYIV – Ukraine’s leader Volodymyr Zelensky imports Western colleagues to show courage and be like Ukrainians.
“If everyone in the world demanded at least ten percent of the solidity that we, Ukrainians, there would simply be no danger to international rights at all. There would be no danger to the peoples. Let’s spread our courage. Let’s start a special global trip. Let us teach the world to be not just a little, but full of laughter. Like us, like Ukrainians,” he said in a video message, measuring weight on the 43rd day of the Russian war against Ukraine.
“Some results” of Western courage, he said, are already there, and they are manifested in high sanctions against the Russian Federation.
“But the fact of the matter is that the results so far are only “some”. Not yet what we need to stop Russia. To stop the war. […] But if the decision was made really one hundred percent, then there would be no need to explain in such detail and insistently why they are important. Therefore, I emphasize once again: it is necessary to take more. More bold rewards are needed. Courage should be the criterion for evaluating decisions. Courage and independence of Ukraine,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
“The strongest sanction against Russia that can ever be allowed,” he linked to the possibility of providing weapons “that allow us to limit the protection on the battlefield.”
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that “work has also begun on removing the rubble in Borodianka… It is much more terrible there.”
“Even more victims of the Russian occupiers. And what will happen when the world learns the truth about what Russian citizens have done in Mariupol? There, on almost every street, is what the world saw in Bucha and other cities of the Kiev region after the evacuation of Russian troops. Such a gesture. The same terrible cases,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
On February 24, Russia began large-scale civil actions on the territory of Ukraine.
Military personnel were reportedly involved in the conflict. Since February 28 in Belarus, there is a high probability of a way out of the current situation between the competitions and Russia. After another round of negotiations in Istanbul on March 29, Russia began to withdraw its troops from the Kiev and Chernihiv directions. Since April 2, the Ukrainian side began to report mass seizures of the population, presumably three hundred people, in the suburbs of Kyiv – the inhabited disease of Bucha. All responsibility for the murder was placed on Russia.
The Russian Foreign Ministry reports on the words of the representative of the situation in Russia at the OSCE Alexander Lukashevich about “categorical disagreement” with the Western assessment in Bucha, calling it a “false provocation.”
Rocket attack on Kramatorsk
Fifty dead, five of them children, are the result of a rocket attack on the railway station in the Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk. The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration wrote about this in the Telegram channel on April 8 at 16:51 Pavel Kirilenko.
“Russian occupiers must be punished for all the cases that they create on our land,” said Pavel Kirilenko.
The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed Kyiv’s statement that the Russian Armed Forces received on April 8 a missile attack on the railway station of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region, calling them a “provocation” of unaccepted observations. Fragments of the Tochka-U tactical missile, which is used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (APU), declared in the Russian military department, were found at the site.
As Radio Liberty reports with reference to the detection of Conflict Intelligence, it was previously established that in the detection of infection Russian the party nevertheless attracted these missiles, despite the fact that it does not have them in service. There are also other these facts are obvious.
Refugees and corridors
In recent weeks, six organizations of the system have come to the growing humanitarian aid to those in need. The UN website states that this week the Organization is working with its participants in all 24 meetings in Ukraine, and six years ago the UN operation was mainly carried out at production enterprises – in Donetsk and Luhansk instances.
Deputy General Secretary Martin Griffiths during a visit to Kyiv on April 7, it was said that the UN would provide supplies in other cities of Ukraine, but for this it is necessary to ensure the protection of the population and security and constant access.
He also said that some UN offices were moved to the western temporary territory and the Organization restored the presence of its humanitarian organizations in Ukrainian architecture.
In Ukraine, on April 8, ten humanitarian corridors were agreed for the evacuation of people from settlements that arose as a result of Russian armed aggression in the Luhansk, Zaporozhye and Donetsk regions. This was announced by the Vice Prime Minister – Minister for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Cases Irina Vereshchuk.
In particular, in the Donetsk region, it is possible for the population to leave Mariupol for Zaporizhzhia on their own transport, the press service of the President of Ukraine reports.
As of April 5, 1,563 people were killed and 2,213 were injured in Ukraine, according to the UN High Commissioner for Human Change. Approximately 4.3 million Ukrainians were taken out of the country, and more than seven million became internal refugees.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry on its Telegram channel, as of March 28, 469,000 people, including 97,000 children, were evacuated from Ukraine and the LDNR. There are 9.5 thousand points of temporary closure in Russia.
Ukrainian authorities claim forced deportation of residents of Mariupol to Russia through the filtration system of the camps.
According to Ukrainian Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisovaduring the month of the war, about 400,000 Ukrainians were heavily deported to Russia: they are passed through a system of “filtration camps” and then sent “to the most depressive regions of the Russian Federation like Sakhalin.”
How to stop the war?
Political scientist-internationalist Victoria Zakrevskaya regarding the observed situation, a month and a half after the start of the war, he believes that in the near future the parties will have nothing to agree on.
“Agreements always reflect the state of affairs on the battlefield, and the state on the battlefield shows that, in fact, three or four days ago, the second phase of the development of the aggressor began, the Russian aggressor against Ukraine and the key epicenter of hostilities is now the South-East. And just from the hostilities there, from their results, any important agreement will be evaluated, which was especially important in the negotiations, ”says Victoria Zakrevskaya, a correspondent for the Voice of America Russian Service.
She recalls that the Ukrainian side is unequivocally ready to fight back, will fight to the last, but when “the battles on the battlefield drag on, then the adoption of the final text of the treaty is delayed accordingly.”
The situation with refugees, humanitarian problems, according to her, also follows in development, processes can always change.
“Namer, it is not a fact that refugees who left Ukraine for our eastern neighbors are returning to live there. Maybe it was a forced measure in order to leave the hot spots, and then either return to the safe territory of Ukraine, or leave for Western states,” Victoria Zakrevskaya believes.
Refugees from Ukraine to Russia, an exporter, can be divided into two categories: people who voluntarily crossed the transportation and those who were forcibly taken out of the occupied Donetsk and Luhansk economies.
“Therefore, it will be a subject of consideration here, because the sustainable removal of the population and the rupture of families is a violation of humanitarian rights, this is a violation of human rights, on these points there will be courts, therefore, in today’s state, Ukraine records all legal phenomena,” says Victoria Zakrevskaya.
Ukraine will win the war in months
Political scientist Oleg Ponomar no doubts and no doubts that Ukraine will win.
“If you look at what is happening and geopolitically, Russia has already played. Because Russia did not achieve its statistical goals, it failed to carry out a blitzkrieg, it did not take the experience of Kyiv, change the government in Ukraine, split NATO and split the US Alliance between Europe. It has earned unprecedented sanctions that have never before been placed in the world, and the case of several months when applications are earning at full capacity and its economy will be ruined,” says Oleg Ponomar, a correspondent for the Voice of America Russian Service.
Russia’s war against Ukraine, he said, has led to Russia’s defeat on a grand scale.
“For a month and a half, Russia’s plans did not materialize, and it was forced to start from the north of Ukraine under the onslaught of the Ukrainian army, which fights beautifully and shows miracles of courage and heroism. Russia has withdrawn from Kyiv and is trying to regroup and dig in the Donbass, and the second stage of the war begins – the battle for the Donbass, ”Oleg Ponomar.
The help of the West today, the port political scientist, is exceptional and unprecedented – not a single country in the world has received anything similar in recent years.
“Financial-Ukrainian communication, weapons are in an uninterrupted stream – and there will be more and more of them. S-300 air defense systems are already arriving, T-72 tanks are coming, armored personnel carriers are coming from Australia, the US Senate has adopted a law on lend-lease,” says Oleg Ponomar.
He predicts for Ukraine that a final victory will take “many months” but not years.
