The failure in the operation of the energy systems of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, which was revealed on January 25, did not have a negative impact on the energy supply to Russian consumers. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Grabchak on the air of the TV channel “Russia 24”.
“In the event of an emergency, the means of emergency automation and control of electric power facilities of the Russian Federation worked correctly, so this case did not affect our consumers and everyone was left with a reliable and high-quality power supply,” he noted.
Grabchak said that the energy systems of the energy systems of the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan operate in parallel, so a possible technological disruption in the energy systems of states can consume consumers of another state. Due to exceptional circumstances, the case of a significant number of cases of its formation from a structure in one of the states, which is associated with the division into the northern and southern parts of Kazakhstan, as well as the separation of the southern part of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan from the energy system of the Russian Federation and the northern part of Kazakhstan.
“We are already seeing that there is a need for closer interaction of several parallel systems. “This advertisement showed that it is necessary to immediately begin to strengthen this work,” the deputy head of the department added.
At the same time, Russia intends to offer work on the introduction of a committee for managing the reliability of the energy system, unified approaches to regime planning and development planning and interaction with numerous parallel works after receiving the position of a full member in the Central Asian Electricity Council.
