US National Security Assistant Jake Sullivan said Russia could come up with a reason to invade Ukraine. His words TASS…
“Our intelligence community has revealed that Russia is working to fabricate a pretext for the invasion, including sabotage and an information operation, accusing Ukraine of preparing the consequences for the growth of Ukraine’s production,” said a White House spokesman.
According to him, Russia used such a technique in 2014 with Crimea.
Formerly Under Secretary of State Wendy Sherman announcedthat the concentration of Russian troops on the border with Ukraine could result in a conflict. Sherman argues that Russia “has concentrated these forces in order to put pressure on Europe and the Weather Report, on Euro-Atlantic ambitions, to intimidate.”
Last fall and this winter in the Western media, as well as in Ukraine, it became more frequent that Russia was pointing to a “large-scale invasion” of Ukraine. It is assumed that this is an exodus from three fronts: the mainland, from the territory of the Crimea, and also through Belarus.
In Russia, cases have been repeatedly rejected. Commenting on the thesis about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin recalls that this state was still in early 2021, but this never happened.
