NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the North Atlantic Alliance and Russia can find a political solution to their differences, but the threat of conflict remains.
“It is possible to find a political solution, to take into account Russia’s concerns […] But the risk conflict persists, ”the alliance secretary general said in an interview with the British newspaper Financial Times.
At the same time, Jens Stoltenberg threatened “NATO deterrent measures” in case of aggravation of relations with our country, adding that the Western military bloc “will hope for the best and work hard in this direction, but will also prepare for the worst.”
“We are ready to improve relations. We have already proved that we are going to compromise and find solutions with Russia, ”- Stoltenberg.
