Putin to discuss Russia-Palestine relations with Abbas – Politics
MOSCOW, November 23. / TASS /. Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks in Sochi on Tuesday with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas. According to the Kremlin press service, the leaders will consider issues of further development of bilateral cooperation and the situation in the Middle East region, taking into account the efforts on Palestinian-Israeli Israel.
Earlier, the head of the Palestinian Foreign Ministry reported that in discussions with the President of Russia, Palestine, to speak “a number of international and regional problems.”
According to Russian press secretary Dmitry Peskov, talks between Putin and Abbas will begin in the middle of the day. A conversation between the two leaders is planned and the conversation will continue in the format of a working breakfast.

Also, according to Abbas, the meeting may include the efforts of the Russian side in the inter-Palestinian dialogue with the aim of reconciliation and ending the split.
In addition, as a Palestinian leader, the meeting will discuss issues of strengthening bilateral relations in economic, cultural and other fields. Speaking about Russian-Palestinian cooperation, Abbas points out that it is developing in economic directions, “in the meantime, additional work is required to advance.”
