There will be no mandatory vaccination for Debrecen municipal employees and holding employees either
Debrecen – Nearly three quarters of the workers already have at least the second coronavirus vaccination.
It was announced on Thursday that a government decision could require employers to vaccinate against the coronavirus in terms of working conditions if worker safety so required. This will be enforced by the state as an employer, and in the case of municipalities, the mayor may decide to prescribe the vaccination.

The Local Government of the City of Debrecen does not make it compulsory for its employees to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.
“Prior to the decision, I consulted with the heads of the institutions exercising the powers of the employer and the trade unions representing the interests of the employees. Based on the information of the latter
nearly three-quarters of workers already have at least a second vaccination against the coronavirus.
Although the vaccination will not be mandatory, in order to ensure the functioning of the institutions, we have formulated a recommendation to use as many vaccinations against the coronavirus as possible, ”says László Papp.
According to the mayor, the current customer reception system of the mayor’s office will not change. However, body temperature measurement is mandatory for those entering its units – the office and those working there – from 3 November (Wednesday). From day one, the entrant will be advised to wear a mask and hand sanitizer. It is mandatory for officers working with the client and for officers not accepting the seller it will be recommended to wear a mask. Also, from November 3, wearing a mask will be mandatory for those working in a residential social institution.
The mayor asks the people of Debrecen not to go to the community if he feels sick.
Vaccination is not mandatory at the holding either
Debreceni Vagyonkezelő Zrt. And its member companies are not obligated to take the corona vaccine for their employees against the virus, the company said on Tuesday.
Only the management of the holding will make a recommendation to use as many coronavirus vaccines as possible in order to ensure the continuous service and operational stability provided by the group of companies.
For those member companies where the mass spread of the virus against crown preparation is particularly important, additional good introduces.
The member companies most exposed to the infection and therefore requiring additional protection measures are:

• Debrecen Waterworks Ltd.
• DKV Debreceni Közlekedési Zrt.
• DV Parking Kft.
Adequate protection required for customer service and other customer relations positions is assigned by member companies in their sole discretion. Holding also recommends the use of general masks, continuous hand disinfection and all protection measures that allow the preservation of health in all member companies – the statement concludes.
