After a long covid break, Prague Airport is renewing its excursions to its facilities. Fans of aircraft and aviation will once again have the opportunity to get to know the operation of the airport and closely monitor the take-offs, landings and check-in of aircraft. Excursions are still for school groups, at the end of the month the general public will open. The reservation system will be in operation from 15 October on airport website.
As part of excursions, the public has the opportunity to get to know the working background of many airport professions and places where ordinary passengers do not serve. The guide will introduce the operation of the airport, the rush on the aprons, acquaint the interested party with the runway system or fire station.
“We have repeated requests from those interested in restoring this popular tourist attraction. It’s the best way to show the airport up close to people and gain more fans of aviation and fans of its future development. “ said the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Prague Airport Jiří Pos.
The price list remains the same, the entrance fee is 100 CZK. The participants will pay the same amount for parking for three hours if they arrive by car. In the end, there was no change from the pre-Eve’s excursions. The tours will start at Schengen Terminal 2, in front of which participants can also park. Traditionally, the excursion begins at Terminal 3, which is now under reconstruction.
The airport started organizing excursions in 2008.
