This is necessary for the Danish police to seize your car
Basically, there are three different criteria that allow the police to seize the car on the spot.
- If you drive over 200 km / h, no matter how high the speed limit is. Maximum speed limit in Denmark is 130 km / h.
- If you drive over twice as fast as the speed limit and the speed is over 100 km / h. In other words, you do not lose the car at 80 km / h in a 40-zone, but it smokes at 120 km / h in a 60-zone.
- If you have more than 2.0 per thousand. Denmark has a blood alcohol limit of 0.5, higher than the Norwegian of 0.2.
The Danish newspaper Nordjyske reports that the Norwegian bought the car for 2.7 million kroner in Germany a few hours before he was taken into police control.
– The owner was a little annoyed, says Jess Falberg, the police officer at work who stopped the rough driving.
The car owner will also be fined for the violation. According to tjekbil.dk you get a fine of 11,000 Danish kroner – 14,600 Norwegian – for driving at the speed the Huracan was taken in, in addition to the car being seized.
