At the same time, deputies of the KPRF family faction can retain their chairmanship in the committees for entrepreneurs, women and children, representatives of the New People factions, most likely, will head the committee that will deal with business issues. Elections to the State Duma of the eighth convocation were held over three days – September 17, 18 and 19. Five parties passed their lists to the State Duma: the traditional parliamentary four (United Russia, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, A Just Russia – Patriots – For Truth and the Liberal Democratic Party) and the debutant of the federal elections – the New People party, formed last year.
Taking into account the data on 225 single-mandate constituencies, representatives of eight parties will work in the State Duma: United Russia, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, A Just Russia – Patriots – For Truth, the Liberal Democratic Party, New People, Motherland, Civil Platform and the Party of Growth … In total, United Russia received 324 mandates, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation – 57, A Just Russia – Patriots – For the Truth – 27, LDPR – 21, New People – 13, Rodina, Civil Platform, the Party of Growth – one each mandate, five mandates – self-nominated candidates.
