Expresser Krnáčová suffers from cancer. As disgusting as in the city hall, she said
Krnáčová, 60, still looked attractive. She played sports. At the beginning of the year – in parallel with the first coronavirus cases – her right shoulder began to ache, which she could not use. So she went to a rehabilitation doctor first, who sent the express to an ultrasound. A specialist visit followed.
“I was beginning to suspect that something was wrong,” Krnáčová recalled. She spoke about the illness last week for diary Lightning. Her emotional confession with a short (and slightly colored cut) was broadcast by TV Nova within program Life in the Stars.
Everything is in my head
“It was a shock that only people who have this or a similar disease know,” Krnáčová said. “The first encounter with this fact is not pleasant, you have to absorb it and start a treatment that is basically fifty to fifty. The doctor told me that it’s all in my head – if you give up, you give it up, but if you fight, you have a chance to win. “
Again, Prague did not choose a director of the municipality. Krnáčová: The coalition wants to cut me off
The former mayor of Prague and former close collaborator of the current prime minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) is being treated at the University Hospital in Motol. Fortunately, the situation with the covid-19 virus did not significantly affect her fight against cancer. “It has not been won yet, but we are on the right track,” Krnáčová revealed.
According to his own words, he appreciates the support and thanksgiving messages that he has received to a great extent in recent days. She admitted that she found great support in the demanding treatment in the construction entrepreneur Petr Michovský, who, by the way, bought Discoland Sylvie two years ago. The house on Primátorská Street in Liben, Prague, was made famous in the 1990s by Ivan Jonák.
Chemotherapy is no fun, says the politician
Michovský’s partner Krnáčová has now admitted in a television interview that one of the worst things for her was not to let her friend and family know the terrifying news. She did not want to be dependent only on their help, although in the end she is grateful for their care. The expresser also very openly described the course of aggressive chemotherapy, saying that it is “no fun”.
“Your life functions are almost gone, you have no taste in your mouth, you are tired, three steps look like an overlying performance, you can’t even go to the toilet, your nails are rotting,” she said, adding that hair loss was perhaps the “least”. She also told all the women that it was absolutely important that they go for regular mammogram check-ups and observe themselves. Her appeal is particularly important now that many people are afraid of coronavirus infection and do not care about preventing other diseases.
Krnáčová will publish a “thriller from Prague about the tentacles of power”. Will he return to the municipality?
Breast cancer is one of the most common cancer, it affects thousands of women in the Czech Republic every year, and can exceptionally affect men as well. Coincidentally, doctor Miroslava Skovajsová, who founded a “breast cancer screening” and a network of so-called mamacentres almost thirty years ago, was a candidate in the colors of the CSSD for the senator in Prague 4 in the 2018 elections.
At the same time, Krnáčová announced that she would not defend her mayor’s position in the municipal elections. She later criticized her former head Babiš and the situation in the government movement YES, even though she tried to be active as a member of the home organization in Prague 6. Although she unsuccessfully applied for the position of director of the municipality and aroused the commotion that the current coalition of Pirates, Prague itself and the United Forces (TOP 09, STAN, KDU-ČSL) wants to “chop” from the selection, it withdrew from politics.
Was Krnáčová better? Mayor Hřib failed in the popularity survey
In the summer, a book called Zpupnost was published by a native of Bratislava, who before her candidacy for the Prague City Council worked as a lawyer at Transparency International and as a Deputy Minister of the Interior. According to Krnáčová, the “thriller from the environment of communal politics” is fictitious, but readers will find many indications of real practices on 296 pages.
The expressor compared her fight with cancer with what she has experienced since 2014 at the head of Prague: “It was as disgusting as the disease, albeit a little differently.” the health status of a 60-year-old woman signed. It seems that her New Year’s wishes will be clear – especially good health!
