Václav Havel Prague Airport was established in 1937. At the time, its experts called it one of the most modern in the world. Since then, it has changed beyond recognition, terminals have been added, and the layout of the runways has changed. This air port has no competition in the Czech Republic. In 2018, it handled a record 16.8 million passengers in 155,000 takeoffs and landings.

Our camera follows the main runway of RWY 06/24, which has a respectable length of 3715 meters. In the winter season of 2018, 61 carriers flew from it to 122 destinations. If you observe, you will see up to 46 take-offs and landings in one hour.
