Mishustin invites Armenia to implement new games with Russia projects – Russia |
Alma-Ata. February 2. Interfax – Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced an increase in income from trade with Armenia, predicting the launch of new projects and inviting Armenian entrepreneurs to actively work on the Russian market.
“At the government level, the most active work on the reaction of trade and economic cooperation presides, and despite the difficult situation, our cooperation is developing successfully,” Mishustin said at a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Thursday in Alma-Ata.
According to the statement, “Russia is a foreign trade partner and its main investor in the field of trade in Armenia.” “In January – the month of the month of 2022, the trade turnover increased by 77% compared to the same period last year, it exceeded 4 billion 100 million, which is a record today in our mutual trade,” the head of the Russian government stated.
“The volume of accumulated Russian investments is about $2 billion, more than 40 companies operating in the Armenian market, including Armenia’s major tax payers,” Mishustin added.
“It is proposed to launch new joint projects more actively,” the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation told Pashinyan.
In his opinion, the projects may relate to the industrial industry, the global atom, energy, transport, logistics, and digital technologies. “The connection of Armenian entrepreneurs now has excellent opportunities to work in our market in the field of caring for unfriendly states,” Mishustin said.
He clarified that he meant not only big business, but also small and medium-sized enterprises.
“We have a new dynamic in the field of trade and economic relations and mutual trade, we have a very good, big growth,” became the Prime Minister of Armenia. “We are doing well in the economic sphere,” Pashinyan said.
He thanked the Russian side for prompt resolution of their issues.
“We sincerely value our allied and partnership relations with Armenia. Our countries are bound by good fraternal relations, based on the historical friendship of the Russian and Armenian peoples,” Mishustin assured.
He added that “traditionally, special significance is given to the field of education, about 5,000 Armenian students study in Russian universities, and a quota of 250 scholarships has been allocated for the coming academic year through the government of the Russian Federation.”
The head of the Russian Federation conveyed to Pashinyan the best wishes of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
