The people of Prague will receive the Newsletter to help solve the energy crisis and increased expenses
“Prague helps not only financially and materially as part of the Package to help the people of Prague. Now it also comes with a clearly prepared Newsletter full of information about the possibilities of helping residents not only from Prague, but also from the state. Unfortunately, there are still people who are entitled to help, but are reluctant to ask for it or do not know about it. In my opinion, that should definitely change,” says Zdeněk Hřib, mayor of the capital. m of Prague.
“In the current difficult economic situation, which largely depends on the energy market, from the beginning it tried to add help to the citizens of Prague, for example in the form of expert information and recommendations to reduce one’s own energy consumption in the household, but also with the help offered by the capital city of Prague citizens. We came up with this form of information newsletter so that the widest possible range of people would learn about the help, so that no one who needs help is left without it,” explains Jiří Pospíšil, vice-chairman of the representative club SPOLU for Prague.
Already in the past, the capital city informed the people of Prague in a similar way about the possibilities of vaccination or about the reconstruction of the Barrandovský bridge, while this form of communication proved to be the case. The newsletter offers help to those in need in a clear and comprehensible form, and if interested, people can also find it at the offices of city districts and other institutions throughout the city.
“Contributions for school lunches, social groups or housing and many other measures with which we want to help the people of Prague in need on behalf of the city, we started introducing them following the example of Prague 7 already last year. The newspaper newsletter sums them all up clearly so that everyone can learn about the possibilities of help,” adds Jan Čižinský, chairman of the representative club PRAHA SOBĚ and mayor of Prague 7.
“It’s one thing to help the state or the city, and another is to educate and inform those affected. Help without information is half-hearted. I know it from the Chamber of Deputies, when we adopt a pro-consumer norm, which does not help so much when consumers do not know about it. I am therefore very happy that this newsletter was created, where the people of Prague can find everything they need on eight pages,” concludes ANO club chairman and PSP MP Patrik Nacher
Graphic processing, printing and ensuring distribution were part of the public contract, the winning supplier was Czech distribution company with a price of 798 thousand crowns without VAT. The price of one copy of the Newsletter thus corresponds to 1.06 crowns without VAT.
