Bouw&reno closes with 13% more visitors than last year | Antwerp
AntwerpThe 20th edition of Bouw&reno, the (re)construction fair of Antwerp, closed last weekend with 13% more visitors than the previous corona edition in 2022. back. A striking difference compared to 2022 was the high demand for information about the new legislation on energy renovation and construction.
From 14 to 22 January, Antwerp Expo with Bouw&reno was the place for anyone with construction or renovation plans. About 150 exhibitors present their services. After the fair, the organization can look back with satisfaction, because after a corona edition of 2022 – which was mainly caused by numerous safety obligations – this edition was as usual with 13% more visitors than last year.
Insulation material
“While last edition there was mainly demand for heat pumps and solar panels, this year that demand shifted to insulating materials,” says Farida Martens, organizer Bouw&reno. “Many visitors gathered for information about premiums and subsidies to find out what the changes are compared to last year. Bouwunie was present here to familiarize all those people during various information moments.”
Also the new results of homes with an EPC label E or F to renovate to a better energy label upon purchase, which people are working on. At Bouw&reno, visitors not only received information about the new regulations, they could also be immediately purchased from numerous exhibitors. “In this way we can say even more that Bouw&reno is a one-stop-shop for anyone who wants to build or build. In addition to all theoretical information about legislation, you will also find the practical framework of professional contractors here,” says Farida Martens.
