The head of the Chisinau Parliament rejects the hypothesis of a political crisis. How Maia Sandu collaborates with Natalia Gavriliță – Event of the Day
The President of the Parliament, deputy Igor Grosu, declared that there is no political crisis within PAS, the party at governance in the Republic MoldaviaHe stated that the team consisting of the president Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Natalia Gavriliță works very well.
“No, absolutely not, we are a team. That we sometimes discuss like this, more temperamentally, this is our way of being in PAS, not to be upset or surprising to our enemies. It is internal democracy in the party, any idea is discussed, even if it is with a lot of passion, we discuss, take the decision, publicly assume it and promote it. This is the rule in PAS”, declared Igor Grosu.
The President of the Parliament from Chisinau claims that the Republic Moldavia has an unprecedented chance to put the country on the pro-Western path. Igor Grosu also said that all politicians in power, from Chisinau, are aware that they must maintain this route and do everything they can to achieve the proposed objective, European integration.
“We understand very well the chance that the Republic of Moldova has now, the score we obtained in the parliamentary and presidential elections for a budding party is unprecedented, the window of opportunity we have in this European integration. a unique one, or one that rarely appears in the history of a very country, that’s why everyone is aligned and everyone understands how important it is to move forward as quickly as possible, to do everything that belongs to us”, explained Igor Grosu.
Integration of Moldova to eu it will be depending on the results
The President of the Parliament says that a decision on Moldova’s accession to eu it will be taken by member states of the community bloc, but collaboration between the president, parliament and government is also needed.
“That a decision by the member states will follow, of course, that’s something else, just as important, but we mustn’t do our homework. The collaboration between the presidency, the parliament and the government is very good, we are a team and we will keep the team going,” Igor Grosu said.
As a consequence, considering what the stakes are, Igor Grosu does not see the need to change the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, at this moment. He is of the opinion that there is a lot of pressure on the government, if there is a need for change, for a political decision, it will be publicly announced and explained.
“I also worked in the executive branch, I also worked in the Parliament. On the executive, the pressure is much greater, it is the area in which you have to intervene, something is constantly happening in the country. If it is necessary at some point, it will be a political decision within the party that will be announced and explained to the people,” Igor Grosu said, according to G4media.
