Another week of the Tipsport extra league is over with all the teams having played two or three games. One hundred percent was Sparta, which has two representatives in our selection. And Lukáš Sedlák from Pardubice confirms his qualities. Who else made the top five players?
Jan Buchtele, HC Sparta Prague
Sparta scored three wins from three matches.
Jan Buchtel
attacker, 32 years old
” href=”https://news.google.com/hrac/jan-buchtele/0883″>Jan Buchtele signed for them with four points, for two goals and the same number of assists. He divided his points equally between the matches against Český Budějovice and Komet Brno.
Buchtele was quite active at the end, when he had 14 shooting attempts in three duels. Eight of those were from the slot area, to which he also added three passes to those spots. He had a total of eight of them.
Sparta did well during Buchtele’s stay on the ice especially in the 5-on-5 game, when the forward with the number 47 was on the ice with five goals scored and one goal conceded. And that with a share of expected goals of 65%, when Sparta outshot the opponent 32:21 in his presence.
Tim Söderlund, BK Mladá Boleslav
Tim Söderlund

Söderlund was among the most dangerous players as he had a total of 14 shot attempts, nine of which were from the slot. He thus created chances for 1.6 expected goals, when only two players were better. In addition, Söderlund prepared 11 shooting positions for his teammates and together he is on 12 created chances.
At 5v5, Söderlund had a 68% expected goal percentage as the Skaters outshot their opponents 46-28, and was on the ice with three goals and two assists.
