Provocative celebration? I hope we pissed off Brno with that, says Sparta | Hokej.cz

Spartan Jan Buchtele confirmed his excellent form from the last match, he helped beat Brno Kometa with two points thanks to an assist and the winning goal, which he scored at 57:52, just two minutes after Brno’s equaliser. “We stand behind each other and the results come hand in hand with that,” he sees as the main key to the styles of the Prague team of experienced attackers.
Where did you find the strength to turn the match to your side at the very end? You immediately had to catch up with an unfavorable result twice.
So probably because we saved a little in the first third, we had the strength even towards the end. The first third was not at all ideal from our side, we knew that we had to improve our performance. Fortunately, we managed to do something with the result.
Why is it that your attack together with Ostap Safin and David Vitouch is currently pulling the entire team with its performances?
I think that our attack is perhaps the only one in which changes have not been made for a long time, it can certainly be seen in our performances. As we record more and more, we understand each other off the ice, which is obviously important, at least it shows on us. It’s working for us at the moment, but I wouldn’t say that our team is pulling only us, the other lines are also playing great and that’s why we’re doing well at the moment.
After scoring the winning goal just before the end, you were very emotional…
It was quite an emotional moment for me because I was on the ice for the 3-3 equalizer that we got in the underdog, I was free at first for the opportunity, but the opponent scored a goal on the counterattack, which of course ate me up. Fortunately, we managed to turn around and everything turned out well for us.
Even your celebration in the cabin after the match was very loud. You even left the door ajar.
She was loud also for the reason that he could hear and feel it a bit, it was a bit of a provocation on our part, I hope we made him angry. (laughs) Every victory against Brno is great.
“She was also loud so that he could hear and feel it a bit, it was a bit of a provocation on our part, I hope we pissed him off.”
You’ve scored two goals in two games, it’s going well for you. Emotionally, you still look similar, but with the increasing performance of your attack, there must be satisfaction on your side.
Certainly, I am happy with both our line and the whole team. We collect the body and somehow try to consolidate our position, which is very important.
The imaginary icing on the cake was your last goal into an empty net, when David Kaše unselfishly left the puck to Roman Horák. Is this also a demonstration that you play as a team and don’t look at personal statistics?
Certainly, I think that this is one of the things that keeps us going and actually moves us forward, we stand behind each other and with that comes results.
