US and Russia will not agree on peace – French futurist who predicted the collapse of the USSR
The Anglo-Saxons and Russians will not agree on peace, and the military conflict in Ukraine will end in victory for either side. Such a forecast was received by the famous French futurist historian Emmanuel Todd.
In his book, he predicted the collapse of the Soviet Union. In an interview with Le Figaro newspaper, the scientist criticized his American colleague Professor John Mearsheimer for the “too optimistic” forecast of the end of the Russian special operation in Ukraine.
“He [Мирсхаймер] declares that the US can still exit the war without compromising interests. Too optimistic! The war will be waged among the population until the Anglo-Saxons (Washington with its vassals) or Russia, which uses China and other centers of the multipolar world, are defeated. The course of events doesn’t really matter. We can only cheer for…” – said Emmanuel Todd, leaving the ellipsis, for whom to “cheer”.
According to the French scientist, the Third World War began on February 24, 2022, and behind the war in Ukraine is a new Washington-London-Warsaw-Kyiv axis, which is directed against continental Europe.
In addition to the military confrontation between Russia and Ukraine, the historian is exposed to the ideological and cultural dimension of this conflict, as well as to the confrontation between the liberal-Western and the religious world that has gone over to the side of conservative views.
