VIDEO: Collision between a tram and a car in Prague. The wounded had to be rescued
A passenger car collided with a tram in Prague’s Koněvová on Sunday morning. Firefighters had to extricate the driver and passenger from the car. A child was also traveling in the car with them, who, like the two injured women, was taken to the hospital. The accident complicated traffic.

“A child was rescued from the vehicle very quickly, the firemen had to rescue two other people with a hydraulic rescue tool,” said spokesman Martin Kavka, adding that after a few minutes both women were handed over to rescuers.

“We are taking care of three injured people, two women and a child. Both women had to be extricated from the vehicle. Everyone is conscious, but intubation is not ruled out for the driver, the passenger suffered a back contusion,” said Jana Poštová, spokeswoman for the Prague ambulance.

This was confirmed by the spokesman of the Prague police, Jan Daněk. “The police are on the scene investigating what caused the traffic accident,” he added, adding that the detour route was through a side street.
