Over 8,500 citizens of Ukraine crossed the border of the Republic of Moldova in the last 24 hours
With reference to the crossing of the border by the citizens of Ukraine, a total number of 8,726 crossings were recorded, of which 4,457 – in the direction of entry into Moldova. At the same time, a number of 1,473 were the crossings of Ukrainian minors.
At the border crossing points, the flow of people constituted 53,269 crossings, a larger number being recorded on the way to the Republic of Moldova – 27,044 crossings.
More crossings were by foreign citizens – 30,773, and the crossings of Moldovan citizens constituted 22,496.
The most “active” border was with Romania – 35,660 crossings, 9,602 crossings were reported at the Moldovan-Ukrainian border and another 8,007 crossings – at the air border.
The most transited border crossing points remain:
PTF Leușeni – 15,606 people crossing;
PTF Chisinau Airport – 8,007 passenger crossings;
PTF Sculeni – 8,642 people crossing;
PTF Cahul – 3,874 crossings;
PTF Giurgiulești-Galați – 3,208 people crossing;
PTF Costești – 2,927 people crossing;
Within 24 hours, border police officers recorded facts:
– an illegal crossing of the state border;
– nine people violated the regime of crossing points and that of the border area;
– five forged travel documents;
– four foreigners violated the term of stay on the territory of the Republic of Moldova;
– 14 violations of the rules for using the vignette and operating vehicles;
– two persons identified with national registration.
