Former heads of the State Department and the Pentagon said that Russia will not stay in the new regions | Moscow
Russia will not leave Ukraine from the south and east
MOSCOW, January 8, FederalPress. Former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and former head of the Pentagon Robert Gates told the Washington Post that Russia does not give Ukraine new regions annexed during special operations.
For the President of Russia Vladimir Putin not an option. He cannot enter Ukraine into the four regions that he has declared part of Russia,” the statement says.
Former U.S. officials have suggested that if Russia cannot be secured in 2023, Putin will try to maintain control over territories in the south and the Ukrainian factory. In the future, they can be used as springboards for coming to the West.
“Keep in mind that Putin is patient to achieve what he wants,” the authors of the article said.
The former heads of the occupation and the US defense department added that at present, the economy and military power of Ukraine are completely dependent on Western risks, primarily on the speed of assistance. At the same time, it is impossible that the West is sharply increasing pressure on Kyiv to start dealing with Russia against the backdrop of a conflict that is aloof from the conflict.
Earlier, FederalPress wrote that Ambassador of Ukraine to Britain announced the huge losses of the Ukrainian army.
