Aggressive drunks in Prague: Cowboy on Wenceslas Square, ninja in Prague 3
The first case happened on New Year’s morning in Wenceslas Square. The officers were called by a taxi driver on line 156 who stated that there was a “cowboy” running around who was threatening others. When the officers arrived, an aggressive 20-year-old foreigner in a cowboy hat attacked the taxi driver with his fist! “The officers immediately pacified the cowboy and handcuffed him. The victim did not want any treatment or to solve the situation in any other way. But he also pointed out to the police that the security of one of the businesses had problems with the young man,” described the spokeswoman for the Prague police officers, Irena Seifertová.
The attacker, who behaved in English, did not stop being aggressive, he was visibly drunk. His identity could not be established, so he ended up in the hands of the state police. She then decided that he would be taken to detention. Gauner inhaled over two per thousand.
“Ninja”
The aggressive drunk was also dealt with by the police three days later in Jičínská Street in Prague 3. “The man shouted vulgarly at passers-by and threatened them by waving his hands. When the patrol called on him to calm down, he said that the officers were not afraid and that he would take it easy with them.,” said Seifertová. The man inhaled 3.36 per thousand. “While waiting for a special vehicle to pick up intoxicated persons, the ninja wanted to fight with the officers, so he ended up with handcuffs. The offense of the 33-year-old man will be dealt with by the administrative body,” added the spokeswoman.
