He Lives Next to His Dead Mother for Three Days: The Double Killer’s Horror Confession Regional
Hanover/Neustadt – In the double murder trial in Neustadt am Rübenberge (Hannover region), the accused Ioannis K. (28) admitted for the first time before the Hanover Regional Court on Wednesday that his mother Anja (53) and stepfather Frank S. (59) had been bestially killed to have!
K. let defender Dogukan Isik speak for himself – the statements on eight pages: sheer horror!
It all started with his existence as an outsider: “I’ve been bullied since I was a child.” The shy loner found solace and support in front of the PC monitor. His favorite game: “Left 4 Dead”, a shooting game series.
Since 2009, he has trained thousands of hours on screen for the apocalypse, fighting alongside online players against a virus-infected zombie army.
He also exchanged views on political issues on the Internet. K.: “I can understand and accept myself.”
Then came the real pandemic. And the virtual killer became a real one!
In 2020 he announced his sales job, living on unemployment benefits and savings: “For me it was only a matter of time before the global economy collapsed and civil wars broke out.”
He rebelled against corona protection measures, locked himself in, prepared for day X with survival equipment. Until after a year and a half his money was gone – no electricity, no PC.
On the day of the crime, May 20, 2022, he wanted to visit his mother (“my anchor”) in the house in the Neustadt district of Hagen. Because nobody was there, he climbed in through the window, ate and turned on the computer (“but had no password”).
Then Frank and Anja S. returned. K: “Both were startled and angry, telling me to leave. You knew the situation in which I caught myself. Disappointed with this behavior, I pulled out my military dagger. Frank yelled: Put the knife away! Then I stabbed him to free myself from this restrictive situation.”
According to coroners, he stabbed his mother and stepfather a total of 181 times. K.: “I fell into a frenzy of blood.” Out of concern that both might suffer, he later gave them the “coup de grace”.
Bizarre: After a shower in his rented apartment in Neustadt, he returned to Hagen and spent three days there – with the corpses!
then he ran away. The fugitive killer ended up in Gifhorn and slept outdoors until his arrest.
Ioannis K. on the killings: “I didn’t want it, it wasn’t a conscious decision. I’ve always been a peace-loving person who lived out his fantasies of violence online.”
His conclusion: “I’m mentally ill.”
According to BILD information, the 28-year-old should have autistic traits. The psychiatric expert who examined K. will soon be heard in court.
The trial will be on January 16th.
