a large number of victims among the residents of Makiivka are massively used mobile phones
“Massive use” of mobile phones by military personnel involved in the deadly strike by Ukrainian forces on a Russian troop deployment site in a Moscow-controlled Ukrainian manufacturing city on New Year’s Eve, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
“It has already become clear that the discovery has taken place the inclusion and massive use, contrary to the ban, by personnel of mobile phones within the reach of detection tools,” a statement in Britain. “This factor caused the occurrence of a bearing and determine the coordinates of the detection site for a missile strike.”
Ukraine claimed responsibility for the attack on Makiivka. Russian forces control the city and are building vocational schools into barracks.
Initially, 63 dead Russian soldiers were reported, but Lieutenant General of the Russian Federation Sergey Sevryukov, in a video statement, said the number had risen to 89.
According to the AFP agency, his new bodies were found under the rubble of the building.
“Currently, a commission is working to investigate the events,” Sevryukov said.
Referring to the servicemen in Makiivka, they were mainly mobilized.
According to them, the soldiers are located in an unprotected building, which was destroyed because the public places stored there detonated from the impact.
On Tuesday, mourning rallies were held in several cities of the Samara region, where some of the mobilized came from.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the country should strengthen its defense. According to him, Russia expects a new offensive.
“We have no doubt that the current masters of Russia are moving away from everything they have left and from everyone they gather in order to accidentally turn the tide in the war and at least delay defeat,” he said. “We have to thwart this Russian scenario. We are preparing for this.”
