On Tuesday evening, Ruslan Khasbulatov, chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, died in his dacha outside Moscow. This broad press was reported by his relatives. He was 80 years old.
Ruslan Khasbulatov was born in 1942 in Grozny, his family was resettled in Kazakhstan as part of the Soviet deportation of Chechens and Ingush.

And in 1993, together with Vice President Rutskoi, he advocated the constant consumption of the powers of Russian President Boris Yeltsin. This conflict eventually led to a constitutional crisis and conflict in Moscow.
On October 4, 1993, after being shot from the tanks of the House of Soviets, Khasbulatov was detained. Already on February 25, 1994, Khasbulatov was released from custody under the amnesty of the State Duma.

In 2003, Khasbulatov announced his intention to run for president of the Chechen Republic, but in the end he did not take part in the elections. In 2021, he supported the re-election for a new term of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov.
