Slavia has started training, Trpišovský wants three reinforcements before the flight to Portugal
The Slavists will complete the first part of the January training at home, on January 10 they will go to a training camp in Portugal. “By the time we leave, we would be happy if they added three more to us,” Trpišovský declared for the club’s website.
It is expected that one of the new acquisitions will be full back or midfielder David Pech from Mladá Boleslav. The Sišivani also want striker Mojmír Chytil from Olomouc, but his transfer is a bit complicated. They are also interested in the young striker Emmanuel Yeboah from Cluj. There may be someone else in the game. Slavia is already missing offensive speedster Yira Sor, who transferred to Genk.
For the first time in the new year, the celebrants met again in the spring Eden and began joint preparation for part of the season. 💪

Trpišovský was pleased that players returning from injury also participate in training. “Petr Ševčík was in full team training, he is absolutely healthy. Ivan Schranz completed team training, but there are limitations in his head game. It will still be tested, but it is in full training, it needs time. Aleš Mandous trained. Honza Bořil completed the first full training session with the team. There it will be a question regarding the accumulation of the load, what he will be able to complete,” the red and white coach described.
Offensive all-rounder Mick van Buren, the second best scorer in the league with nine goals, and stopper or defensive midfielder Maksym Talovjerov are returning from a loan spell to training in Liberec. “Mick performed great in Liberec, he is productive, he was one of the best offensive players in the league. He knows what Slavia means, he has shown great progress. Maksym was often a member of the starting line-up, which is why he left for Liberec. He performed evenly and we had some players injured in defense. The agreement with him since the summer is that I will return to training after half a year and then we’ll see what happens next,” Trpišovský pointed out. Together with them, goalkeeper Jan Stejskal returned to Eden from Slovan.
Young stopper Denis Halinský, who visited Vlašim in the fall, will also get a chance to prove himself in the A team. “Denis is an interesting player that we managed to get in the summer. We already had a recommendation for him a year ago, he started playing in the second league at a young age. His typology and playing style could be suitable for Slavia in the future. We will see how his journey will continue, we want to test him. It’s about him seeing the demands, it can help him improve,” says the main Slavist strategist.
So far, he is missing stopper David Hovorka, who is recovering from serious knee injuries, and defensive all-rounder Tomáš Holeš, whose tendon problems forced him to undergo surgery. He underwent this at the end of November, and is now starting to train.
“Hopefully it will heal quickly and he could join the team during February. David Hovorka is also in individual mode. If everything goes well, I could join team training during February and play some matches in March. The rest of the team is fine,” informed Trpišovský.
Slavia will enter the spring part of the season on Sunday, January 29 at home against Jablonec.
