The second winter summer signing comes from Ligue 1. How did he introduce the Albanian representative Rosicky?
The players of Sparta Prague were strengthened by the Albanian national team midfielder Qazim Laci. The 26-year-old player came from Ajaccio in France and signed a multi-year contract at Letná.
“With the arrival of Qazim, we get a central midfielder who, with his different typology, perfectly fulfills our existing central line and provides the coach with a wide range of options in the center of the team.” said sports director Tomáš Rosický.
“He is used to a technically demanding match from the two highest French competitions. He is equipped, he can change the tempo of the game, speed it up and get deep into the opponent’s goal. He passes well and has a winning mentality.” said Rosicky.
Laci is Sparta’s second winter signing after another midfielder, Finnish international Kaan Kairinen, who transferred from Norway’s Lilleström. He was born in Albania, but soon moved with his parents to Greece, where he grew up playing football in Olympiakos Piraeus.
He played in only one cup match in his A team. Hosted vs. APOEL Nicosia and Greek Levadiakos. From the 2017/18 season, he worked in Ajaccio, which he helped advance to the top division in the spring. He played in nine games in it. He had previously made 137 appearances in the French second division, scoring 10 goals.
