Rome, December 30-31 and January 2 traffic restrictions – News
Following the surveys carried out by the urban monitoring network, which recorded the exceeding of the limit values for PM10, restrictions on circulation are envisaged on 30.31 December and 2 January. The limitations will be: on 30 December 2022, from 06.30 to 09.30; on 31 December 2022, from 06.30 to 09.30; on 2 January 2023, from 06.30 to 09.30 and from 16.30 to 20.00. The ban concerns: Euro 3 petrol-powered vehicles, Euro 4 diesel-powered cars, Mopeds and motorcycles (3 and 4-wheeled) Euro 2 diesel-powered vehicles. On 30 and 31 December 2022 and 2 January 2023, on the entire municipal area, there is: a ban on the use of domestic heat generators powered by woody biomass, an absolute ban on open combustion of any type, a ban on all vehicles parked with the engine running; the improvement of street cleaning.
On 31 December 2022, throughout the municipal area, the heating systems will also be switched off in all public offices that do not perform essential services.
