Dijon – Bryan Soumaré keeps the confidence of Omar Daf and breaks his black series
45% possession, only 9 shots including 6 on target… Even if everything was not yet perfect for the recovery, the Dijon FCO returned to success on Monday evening after more than three months of waiting, beating a team of Laval greatly diminished on the score of 5-0. A successful performance and a great success which will perhaps push the Dijonnais to change their game plans for a more coordinated strategy on the counter-attacks, which would correspond to the qualities of Xande Silva and Bryan Soumare, both scorers. The latter had not scored since the 3rd day, had not been decisive since the 5th, but still kept the confidence of the technical staff. Journalists from Le Bien Public asked him if he felt “pampered” by Omar Daf and his colleagues.

” Pampered, I don’t really know because the coach is hard on me, which is normal. But it’s true that they know me from Sochaux and know how to work together. With the coach, we discuss a lot, we exchange. He always tells me to look up even if I miss a pass, to stay straight… We work a lot on that with the staff, they know that with last year’s episode, I can quickly lower my head. That’s why, it’s something we work on. »
