Marley Aké is back in France! After making his professional debut with Olympique de Marseille, the French striker decided to take on a new challenge abroad, with Juventus Turin. If the 22-year-old distinguished himself with the reserve of the Old Lady, he did not manage to impose himself within the first team. In lack of time, the former Marseille was loaned in the final minutes of the winter transfer window to Dijon until the end of the season. During an interview granted to the Dijon formation, the native of Béziers returned to the reasons which led him to return to France, more precisely to Burgundy.
“I chose Dijon and I have always been clear with Juventus Turin. This is the place where I wanted to go because I know that this is where I will be able to express myself best. Even if the team is in a difficult moment, that does not scare me. I will have to bring something to this team. I will give everything for that. I also had the coach on the phone and that added motivation for a coming at DFCO… I needed a good environment to be able to express myself. I know the championship and I think it will be easier to adapt here. It is a positive point for my integration and for me to expresses myself as best as possible. The presence at the club of Christopher Rocchia, whom I knew in Marseille, will also help me”, justified Marley Aké.
