They made it difficult for the Italian champion in the Debrecen futsal team
The DEAC women’s futsal players showed off against host Falconara at the international tournament in Italy on Tuesday night. On Monday, the Italians beat Vijf of the Dutch DRS 12-1, which also showed that a very difficult game awaited the Debrecens.
Like a on the club website can be read, as could be expected, the home team put a lot of pressure on DEAC right from the start, Torma Lilla had plenty of work to do, but luckily the excellent goalkeeper delivered the enormous feats. The first chance in Debrecen came in front of Csilla Krascsenics, whose header was cleared by Dibiase Angelica. DEAC defended heroically, Gabriella Csepregi and Dia Fülöp made great saves to save the goal. Then Anikó Nagy took a free kick from a dangerous position, one of the Italians blocked it near the goal line. After that, Falconara dominated, fortunately the goalpost helped the university students out several times. At the end of the first innings, their attention waned a little, and this was punished by Taina Santos, so it was 1-0 on the scoreboard at the break.
After the change of half, Taina Santos was a few centimeters away from doubling, as her bomb hit the post. Not long after, Dalmaz fired from close range, but his aim was inaccurate. To the great joy of the enthusiastic supporters, Ferrara doubled the Italians’ lead, at that time few thought that he had set the final result. At DEAC, Gabriella Csepregi’s point kick was another point to highlight, but that didn’t make it any better, despite that, they were able to leave the playing field with their heads held high.
– What happened was what we had prepared for in advance, that is, the Italians dominated. Against the Dutch, we defended more bravely, we will also try to counterattack, and with that we will surprise them. We played disciplined throughout, even though we made a few mistakes at times, regardless, we can’t be dissatisfied, I’m a little sorry that we didn’t manage to score. Lilla excelled in goal, but everyone next to him deserves praise. Our goal is to win against Vijfje, but the big question is how much this match took out of us – summed up head coach Vivien Quirikó to deac.hu.
With this, it was decided that the Italians will finish at the top of the group, while DEAC can fight with the Dutch for the second place from 17:00 today.
