The Republic of Moldova registers progress in the field of combating corruption: An international study also shows where we are stagnating
The contract signed with MGRES is a “betrayal of the country”, the qualified doctor in law, Teodor Cârnaț. And ex-deputy Alexandru Slusari believes that this contract is “a disproportionate hill that strengthens the separatist regime”. On the other hand, the PAS deputy, Marcela Adam, says that the agreement concluded is “reasonable”, because we are in a state of crisis and only a lower electricity tariff can be ensured. Statements were made during the December 9 edition of the show “Ghețu asks” from TV8.
According to Teodor Cârnaț, citizens on the left and right of the Dniester should pay the same tariff for electricity.
“This contract is a betrayal of the country and I think that the Prosecutor’s Office must report itself, in these conditions it was signed that was not transparent and who is that company that takes care of 2.60 and a difference of 2 lei to 4.60. And in order to put citizens on an equal footing, it is good for those on the right side of the Dniester to pay one leu or much less for electricity,” Cârnaț emphasized.
“We first have to solve the energy problem, the citizens pay less, after which we will move on to solving the Transnistrian conflict. As for treason, let history judge us and the citizens”, retorted the PAS deputy, Marcela Adam.
And the former deputy, Alexandru Slusari, claims that the agreement with the Cuciurgan plant “strangles our economy” and many things are still “obscure” after the signing of the contract.
“This contract is made with the surrender of national interests, it is a disproportionate hill that strengthens the separatist regime and the separatist industry, it strangles our economy, it is a non-transparent and clear contract and after signing the contract, many things remain obscure and mathematical, no one can not say . why do we have such tariffs, why isn’t the contract published, how much are they now buying gas from Energocom, why isn’t the volume of gas reduced, calm down”, said Slusari.
The PAS deputy, Marcela Adam, stated that the contract with MGRES would allow us to ensure the energy security of the country.
“This is unique, at least in the current crisis conditions, the only reasonable one through which we can provide the population of the Republic of Moldova with electricity, respectively heat, with light, we can ensure a reasonable price for these electricity delivery services, respectively. , we can ensure the energy security of the country and the overall security of the Republic of Moldova.
Given that Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, through which we do not receive electricity even from Romania, as long as it is there is permanently under the threat of shells, we ensure stability for the energy security of the Republic of Moldova and offer indirect support to Ukraine as well, for that from the EU, we receive on the same quota. Once we do not miss this quota, it goes to the Ukrainians”, he mentioned to Adam.
TV8.md reminds that on Saturday, December 3, Energocom signed the electricity supply contract with MGRES. Thus, approximately 204 thousand MW will be delivered, at the price of 73 dollars. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spînu.
