Serial production of Russian SUVs Aurus Komendant launched at the plant in Yelabuga. This was announced by the car manufacturer.

It is noted that at the Aurus plant in the Alabuga SEZ of the Republic of Tatarstan, the process of serial production of Aurus Komendant has been launched. We are talking about a Russian luxury SUV, which will be completely produced in Russia from components, most of which are among the largest manufacturers.

“Now all the main Aurus units are produced in Russia. At the moment, the share of domestic achievements has reached 70% – this includes all the main components of the car: power plant, transmission, electronics, interior and decorative solutions, ”are used in the company.

Recall that the first presentation of the SUV took place at the end of September this year. At the same time, Nikolai Khodosevich, General Director of Aurus, said that depending on the expected number of cars, which will depend on needs and will not go on sale, sales are expected to start in the first quarter of 2023.

According to the company, the cost of the car is from 33.7 million rubles. At the same time, brand dealers began accepting pre-orders for Komendant in September.
