“The power supply of most consumers on Sakhalin has been restored. Within 30 minutes, a full restoration will occur,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
As reported, early Monday morning, due to the elements at Yuzhno-Sakhalinskaya CHPP-1, power supply was disrupted in nine areas of Sakhalin (the south and the main parts of the island), including in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
According to the governor of the region Valery Limarenko, the accidents caused the accident rate of the main steam pipeline of CHPP-1. this operational staff turned off the site and quickly adjusted the work of the power system.
“On the foreseeing prospect of restoring the steam pipeline. According to forecasts, the likelihood of an early restoration of equipment is matter,” the governor wrote on his page in the telegram channel.
He also said that he made a diagnosis – a stable supply of energy resources to kindergartens, schools, heavy installations, residential premises. “People should not feel any inconvenience while the repair work is going on,” he said.
