Emmanuel Macron will be Friday, November 25 in Dijon against violence against women
Emmanuel Macron has chosen a very symbolic date for a new visit to Côte-d’Or. He will be in Dijon on Friday November 25, international day against gender-based and sexual violence.
His precise program has not yet been revealed by the services of the prefecture, but according to our information the Head of State will go to the Longvic gendarmerie school, then to the Dijon judicial court where he will participate in a round table with victims of violence against women. According to our colleagues from Good public
he would be accompanied by the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin and the Minister of Justice, Éric Dupont-Moretti.
The last time Emmanuel Macron came to Dijon was as a candidate for the presidency of the Republic. Last March, he had surveyed the Fontaine d’Ouche district
alongside the mayor François Rebsamen rallied to his cause. Last November, the Head of State also had the Côte-d’Or to choose to host the last ceremonial visit of the German Chancellor
Angela Merkel. The two leaders had visited the Hospices de Beaune before a dinner at Clos de Vougeot, the temple of Burgundy wines.
