Snow in Prague complicated traffic. Articulated buses got stuck in the Motol hill
The first significant snowfall, which began on Friday, November 18, caused complications in Prague, especially in suburban transport, where passengers had to prepare for delays on slower-moving services. For example, several stranded articulated buses were left standing in the Motol hill. The transport company therefore diverted some connections.

“Communications are being gradually opened up, but continue to expect irregularities and delays on some bus lines. We are currently not registering any problems in the tram network,” Prague Integrated Transport (PID) said on Twitter.
Deputy for Transport Adam Scheinherr announced that the first spreaders hit the streets of Prague at around six o’clock in the evening, followed by another one at 10 p.m. “At five in the morning, the sweepers will go out, and they will first of all focus on the subway station entrances. Then on other stops and sidewalks,” Adam Scheinherr forwarded. “Whether behind the wheel or on foot, please be careful,” he added.
According to the forecast of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, drivers should expect difficult traffic conditions until Saturday evening. In places, they can reach up to 15 centimeters. Meteorologists also warned of ice and frost until Sunday morning.
